Community Media Platform- An Introduction

The Community Media Platform is one of the key projects run by Creative Vision. The idea is that members & associates of each branch will be encouraged to support the development of locally based media either through advertising/ sponsorship or practical support including advice in their particular area of expertise, help with fundraising efforts among other ideas. As to what the Media Platform will look like this will be down to the individuals and communities taking part but it is likely that most of them will contain a combination of written articles, blogs and online TV. Similar initiatives already established include the Edinburgh Reporter founded by the journalist & blogger Phyllis Stephen, TV Sheffield & Community TV Dublin. More information on the plans for Creative Vision's Media Platform will be released shortly.

Creative Vision
Ideas + Innovation + Collaboration

Creative Vision is a business and professional networking organisation whose main purpose is to generate more business for its members. Almost every type of service, business and trade, large or small will benefit from joining Creative Vision

#The members will meet either once a week or every two weeks at a time of their choosing. This meeting is a forum for business referrals, marketing your business and for general & informal networking. Members carry a business card file with the other member’s business cards in it. When they speak to a client, associate or friend and they recognise a need that can be fullfilled by a member of the group, they can then provide a referral to fill that need. Your business website will also get further exposure by being included in this website. In order for the network/club to work at its optimum, only one representative from each profession or trade is permitted to join each branch. There will be a particular focus on social responsibility & sectors including green technology, personal development & financial support to establish small businesses
